Finally an update!!!
Hello team!! Welcome back!!
This is the schedule for next week, which is when we'll be having open practices; the times will not change much from these once "real" practices start.
- Monday, 9pm, MPR
- Wednesday, 8pm, Martial Arts Room
- Friday, 9pm, Martial Arts Room
- Saturday, 2pm, MPR
For you frosh, the MPR is the "multi-purpose room", you can get there by entering Dillon, turning left and going up the stairs. To get to the Martial Arts Room, go down to Stephens Fitness Center (weights, machines, etc.), and take a half flight of stairs down and it's on your left.
As for the rest of the semester, here's our plan:
- POOMSE SEMINAR: Saturday, Sept 24 @ Boston (e-mail me if interested)
- DEMO/EXHIBITION: Cane Spree Sunday (Oct 2)
- PENN SCRIMMAGE: Early October
- MIT TOURNAMENT!!: October 22

Joint Practices this week
First off, great job at MIT to everyone who competed, and thanks to Master Hatfield, Betsy, Phil, and Jasmine for coaching, driving, cheering, and overall supporting the team. The second Sunday of Fall Break is Cornell, so get pumped!!
Next, this week is midterms, but you should all still come to practice as a way to relieve a bit of stress. For this week, we will be holding joint practices -- that is, combining the beginners/advanced. The modified schedule will be:
Monday: (tonight)
8:30pm-10:00pm Multi-purpose Room (combined beginners + advanced)
Wednesday:
9:30pm-11:00pm Multi-purpose Room (combined beginners + advanced)
