Joint Practices this week

First off, great job at MIT to everyone who competed, and thanks to Master Hatfield, Betsy, Phil, and Jasmine for coaching, driving, cheering, and overall supporting the team. The second Sunday of Fall Break is Cornell, so get pumped!!

Next, this week is midterms, but you should all still come to practice as a way to relieve a bit of stress. For this week, we will be holding joint practices -- that is, combining the beginners/advanced. The modified schedule will be:

Monday: (tonight)
8:30pm-10:00pm Multi-purpose Room (combined beginners + advanced)

Wednesday:
9:30pm-11:00pm Multi-purpose Room (combined beginners + advanced)

First Class!

Hey all! Thank you to everyone who made it out to our first official practice of the year. Hope everyone got a good workout in. For those who want to see more, or those who couldn't make it on Monday, there's another Open Class on Wednesday!


  • Wednesday 9/22, Beginners/Advanced: 9:30-11:00pm (Multi-Purpose Room)


Wear workout clothes. Keep in mind that we'll be kicking and stretching a lot so wear appropriate bottoms. Don't worry about shoes, because we train barefoot. Once again, we would like to reiterate that no prior experience in tkd or any martial art is necessary.

During open classes, you'll receive our TKD Fall Fact Sheet which has all the information you'll need to know about club logistics, including, but not limited to: class schedule, tournaments, officer contact info, and club/uniform dues.
